Intrview conducted by Odessa Neaman on 14 June 1990 as part of the LDS Native American Oral History Project by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University. Singer talks about growing up in Arizona and his early childhood experiences with his family and at boarding school. He tells about his convrsion to the Mormon Church and his experiences in the Mormon Church's Placement Program. He tells about serving int he Southwest Indian Mission. He describes his experiences as a Mormon and discusses cultural differences.
